St.Simons Lighthouse seen from Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia. I was awaiting sunrise and took advantage of the lighting on the low clouds from the lighthouse, which was fortunate as the actual sunrise was quite dull.

imho that tree could work as a motive on its own. As you posted it, personally it does not work for me. Maybe try a composition that's a bit closer to the tree and lower to the ground, portrait orientation, and use a polarizer to bring out the reflection even more. I find the lights off to the right more distracting than beneficial to your image. The shape of the wood and the overall mood and the color I really do like.
