I have a few genres I shoot, so I find in my file system organizing this way makes it easy to navigate to the images whether I want to do so by folder (ie I know I shot the images on November 3rd) or keyword. In LrC, keyword tagging would also allow me to find all images from a specific state, event, sport team, etc. In the file system the structure is followed as Photo root > 2022 > Travel > 1103 vs Photo root > 2022 > Sports > 1103.
