On a cold and windy morning our resident Cooper's Hawk was standing on a wobbly water dish, getting ready to take a both while looking around for his next meal.

Well I think I finally arrived at an efficient work flow to generate these kinds of GIF animations.

Those are pretty darn cool GIFS! Coopers are the neighborhood bird feeder predators in my area. So impressive to see them glide through trees and intimidate birds in hiding. Nice work on these!

Thank you Karl for the feedback, much appreciated.
That Hawk is a regular visitor at our backyard water dish and often hangs around of up to a quarter of an hour.

At 30 FPS the A1 fills up the memory card fairly rapidly. So one has to be careful not to take too many shots too early.

Thank you Dave, much appreciated feedback.
Yes I use Photoshop, but it's a rather involved process.
Shooting handheld creates its own problems for a time sequence of images.
The following is an extended sequence of 300 frames.
