Interesting Fred. I am finding it very similar. Unless the lighting is soft and quite controlled, I don't use it WO. And I have pretty high tolerance/appreciation for character glass. I find I usually reach for my 35 Lux Pre-Asph instead. Here's one of my old dog trying to wait for the mailman but falling asleep. I guess if I didn't have a 35 Lux Pre-ASPH, I would be more excited about it.

I do like it though. I found it has good sunstars stopped down, but the flare resistance usually make the photos unusable for me so it's a moot point.

What are you tastes? What kind of character 35mm's or 50mm's do you like?

I do love ‘character’; the 35 Summaron ƒ/2.8 is what I reach for when I shoot my Monochrom. The lack of any clarity and definition wide open…matter of taste and aesthetic.

Thanks @FredMiranda. The more I use it, the more I like it. And we got a new puppy, so many (more than usual) dog photos lol
