Well bad start as the weather is just crap. All right before a rain storm so no Big Bronco yet. But I still went out to shoot the A7IV which I will talk about later( I like It) and I only shot the 20-40.

Now I am really not after sharpness per say because no sun is not the way to test for that but I thought id at least try and more likely just some bokeh looks to get a feel for this lens. So don't look too much at sharpness . Im handheld

Hopefully im going in late to golf course in morning and plan to get Big Bronco first.

But as it stands right now, it's looking pretty good. The A7IV feels so much like my A1. Frankly I almost bought the A7IV before I broke down and grabbed the A1 which is even overkill for what im shooting. Talk about that later.

Couple things I want to do is check my firmware and with this 20-40 I want to adjust the Manual Focus and give it a stiffer feel to it. For ME I like it stiffer.

Don't think you can change the stiffness of the Tammies MF. At least I don't remember that option for the Tammies...

I gave these a lilies more exposure and knocked the highlights down a bit. I did WB off that sign on the ground. Watch Exif

Even in this light at 40mm looks very sharp. Im pretty dang close too

BTW all this is going through Capture One and been a user for god knows how long.

Okay at 24mm the background right of the ground sign. The Bokeh ball looks nice and round and maybe a hint of onion rings

And just for the record I own all this gear just purchased with my money and I sleep with no one. If you get my drift. It sucks it goes back

Honestly im not expecting miracles with regards to bokeh its a 2.8 lens and a zoom at that. But im liking it so far

Okay I tried at 20mm to get perfect not easy handheld but worth the try. Looks pretty good actually. Its a BB test for sure

I could actually stop right here as I think the Tammy 20-40 at least this copy is quite good . Let me see if I can shoot my kitchen with the 14mm real quick
