Hello N&W,

I have never been in this forum but I see some threads have a "vote as featured thread" button and other threads do not. I cannot find a forum guidelines section anywhere so can someone explain how this button works to vote for a thread? Can you vote for multiple threads or just one? It looks like there's a featured thread every week but when does the week start/end? Specific cutoff times? Any info is appreciated.

Well where have you been since 2005?

For a start, this forum is supposed to be only for posting images and discussions only of such images. That is not followed or enforced anymore, since there are now discussions simply about gear and travel (without images) that are not moved.

I don't know all about the details of the "featured thread" as I don't vote or care about such competitions, especially when they result in little cliques of 'you vote for me and I will reciprocate'.

I would guess voting would end and the end of the week, which is Saturday, 12:00 midnight.

You can vote once for each separate thread. You obviously can't vote on a thread such as yours that contains no images. Of course you can't vote on a thread that is older than one week.

I stand to be corrected on any of those statements.

Thanks Imagemaster. I've been in the gear forum and B&S since 2005. Haven't ventured out from there much. Hopefully someone else will chime in on the N&W stop/start deadline for the week.

But where the heck did you find that link to the N&W guidelines? I'm looking again and still can't find it?

If it ends at 12 midnight on Saturday, why would it not start at one minute later, which is Sunday first day of the week?
