Nice shot, Morris. I like the unique perspective of the slower shutter speed.
Thank you Andrew,
I love doing photos that include some motion blur

A unique shot, Morris. Well done. I'd want to spend a lot of time there if I lived nearby.
Thank you Vic,
I've been going at least once a week when we are home. It's a super location and the wood ducks are just one of the stars

A very cool shot Morris, nice technique to keep the head sharp with the wing blurr. Love the beautiful background. I think he's giving you a look as he went by.
Dave
Thank you Dave,
He is defiantly looking at me. He probably would have turned his head if it would not cause him to turn

Sweet image, Morris! I like everything about it but if it was mine, I would make the flying WD a tiny bit punchier. The funny thing is, the rear part of the duck seems to be just fine. So, just the front part then , however, I realize that’s more my personal preference.
Joshua
Thank you Joshua. I think it's the soft light and the fact that I had to lift the shadows a bit to counter the bright background. As I processed I considered lifting the lavender a little for just the reason you say. It would have added more to the head.
