Went out this afternoon rather late, and the sun set behind a ridge just as we reached the river. The bright tree tops are where the sun is still hitting the higher bits of the forest.

Jim,
photographers can say all the nice things about foliage but I think late Fall and Winter present the "intricate nakedness" of trees!
