Maybe nice to post any black friday sales. I was on adorama and the gf35-70 is on sale for $499. I have the 45-100 but for the price it seems like a no brainer to travel light.

FWIW, some of the sale prices on Fujifilm (maybe all of them?) gear aren't actually Black Friday events. They are part of a separate Fujifilm promotion that was already underway and which continues until January 8.

In other words, while you can take advantage of these prices on Black Friday, they should be available on any other non-black Friday (or any other day of the week) until the event ends in January. See the link above for the details.

I'm stocked up at the moment on lenses with the 30/45/80/110 and the 35-70/45-100/100-200. The upcoming 55f1.7 and the tilt shift lenses look exciting but will need to wait lol.

Big difference this time – these are instant discounts like Fujifilm used to do. For quite a while now, they have been running the 3rd party rebate scams that take forever to get fulfilled and/or will reject your submission for the slightest deviation from their directions. I want to say it's been years since there were instant discounts on so many lenses and bodies, at least for the GFX.
