You seem to find all these great, "photogenic" buildings Bob. Those Coke, Pepsi and Marlboro signs are priceless.
Thanks Lazlo,
Things only we "old folks" will appreciate.
Best,

Bob, you're in a treasure trove area for stepping back in time and you do it so well with your b&w work. I like that you included the context image because it shows how you got into the heart of the scene with your first image. The tones and textures from that CCD M8.2 are gorgeous and just about as close as digital can come to b&w film. Nice work. I really enjoy what you're posting.
Cheers,
Brent
Thank you Brent!
More on scene at end of my reply.
I do enjoy the M8.2 and ought to use more. I obtained a D200, also with the Kodak CCD sensor. Early returns put its images on par with the M8.2s, IMO, but I need to use it more also.
Cheers,
Bob

President Carter was inside getting a beverage Bob!
Yes it seems the South has these "lost cities/towns" more than the North.
Agree with all above about the nostalgic memorabilia!
Happy Thanksgiving Bob and to all the above!
Dan
Thank you Dan!
And for all, for full disclosure, the subject(s) is a replica of a country store constructed and curated by a gentleman who grew up in the area. He has an extensive, and varied collection of items as suggested by the exterior. He asked me to get some pictures of the displays since he doubts his heirs will preserve the collection, so I put together a photo-book for him. We've not talked for some time; I need to try to get together with him during the holidays. Good folks.
Cheers and a happy holiday season for all.
