I shot this image during the recent Tamron VIP Summit in Carmel California. Tamron was nice enough to host a small group for 4 days. This evening we were going to dinner in Carmel, and stopped by the Famous Carmel white sand beach. It was raining pretty hard so we almost waved off the photo stop. But as luck would have it we did get an opening on the horizon in the weather that coincided with sunset. You can tell by the mist on the far point that it was still raining where we were shooting.
Tamron had all of their lenses available for us to shoot. For the trip to town I was carrying just the 17-28 f/2.8 for town, and the 28-200 all-in-one zoom. I think this wide FL range zoom held up remarkably well IQ wise.
Enjoy,
Steve
