A 13-14 pointer made a brief appearance this morning.
He disappeared as quickly and silently as did when he wandered by.
I added this to the original photo taken of the 10 pointer below it.

Seems like the rut is on here in Michigan.
Lots of night time activity with an occasional daytime sighting.

They are wandering in Wisconsin...nice image and buck...about how close were you? Did he come even closer?

He was about 30-35 yards when this shot was taken.
He did wander within 10-15 yards of me but managed to keep a pine tree between us.
There's a larger 11-12 point buck that I've caught quick glimpses of.
I managed to get a passing "between the branches" photo of his rack.
Not at all what I would consider as a "keeper" photograph.
I'll continue to stay vigilant with the camera at the ready.
Hopefully, he'll offer me a decent photo op.
