That is an exceptional price. I’ve been using the 128GB version in my R5 for two years and it’s been a rock solid card. I have no need for 512 GB I storage, but for video shooters this is a steal.

It may run a bit hot as many other cards, but I never had performance issues with it. I owned two of these cards.

I also have the 128GB version for my R5, and I bought this 512GB version the last time it was on sale. Needed a spare, might as well get the extra space even though I don't really need it. Maybe I'll start shooting some video.

Delkins are actually some of the coolest CFE cards.

Even if you don’t need the larger capacity, 512GB and larger cards tend to be faster than 128 GB cards. The deal price makes these less expensive than most 128 GB cards I’ve seen. I just bought my 2nd one; excellent cards and price for them.

Yes, for some applications that much storage is overkill. But these can also improvise as additional backup storage. For example backing up in-progress work while on location, rather than bringing along dedicated external storage. At this price point it's still a fair amount more than a 1TB or even some 2TB SSD or NVME options. But the benefit is it's very small and can also be used in the camera.

A few months ago I bought an Angelbird 512GB for not much more than this one for use during an extended R5 trial. Now I use it in a file duplication and backup role.

I wish the Blacks were on sale. I find ~256GB is a good size for 45MP bodies.

They have these smoking deals a few times a year. There's no better deal out that even close. I have four of these Delkin power cards and haven't had a single issue shooting 4k 120 in the R5.

Thanks to the OP's post, I went to BH and checked the price on the 128gb Delkin Power cards; just in case. Sure enough, there is a super sweet sale on right now - about 45% off! I had three but with some major trips coming up and price this good, I picked up another one at $123US and free shipping.

BTW, it is funny that I can by the 128GB for $123 or I can get the bundled deal of two cards for the low, low price of $300!!! Wait a minute. Take the socks off, carry the one, then, then, then. Oh never mind.

The bundle being much more expensive than buying two singles gave me a good laugh anyway.
