Looks like it to me, but I'm no expert - if you decide to eat them, make sure you keep a bit back so the Coroner knows what it was that did for you - and if they are shaggy ink caps, eat them young, cook them immediately after harvesting and don't mix them with alcohol - strange effects can occur!

I won't be eating it (only 1 in the lawn across from us). I had a bad experience with a wild foraged dish about 8 years ago - had me tripping for 12+ hours. Was not good... I stick to the basic mushrooms from the supermarket.

If it was in the UK, I would be certain:

What I never know is if there are look-alikes in continental Europe, as with the greater diversity of e.g. butterflies.

Nice images, although I would have avoided having those background highlights in the frame of the last one..

Try focus-stacking.

Sure, but this was taken handheld while walking.

I guess I can setup the tripod next time I see something interesting (hopefully getting close enough to the ground, and the subject).

If you want to try focus stacking, there is nothing wrong with it, but a single frame at f11 will get excellent results. Insects land on, and walking around on mushrooms are often a nuisance with stereo pairs and could be more so for stacks.

You don't need a tripod if you are not stacking. All my shots, and probably all the other non-stacked ones in this forum of natural subjects, are hand-held.
