Hi, Rajan! Thank you for your kind thoughts on the two images with aspen leaves covering the mountain road. The light was pretty nice when I photographed these. There was overcast with some light rain, but the sun would break through every now and then providing some unexpected highlights. It was beautiful!

Thank you for your comment! You won't be disappointed if you do make an autumn run out to southwestern Colorado. There is so much to see and shoot both in the southwest and central Colorado.

Thank you very much, Robert! It was so much easier finding good compositions among the mountains of Colorado then it is in the mountains of Idaho, where I live. These mountains have such striking, well defined peaks to grab one's attention.

Thank you for your kind thoughts on this series. The fall colors this year in southwestern Colorado were stunning. All of the reports that I had read prior to travelling to the State said that it was going to be an average year for fall color. I thought it was way better than average!!!

The Ridgway area is breathtaking isn’t it. Very nice work capturing the essence of fall there. The “All In Harmony” image is hands down my favorite with the different colors and lines blending so well into the vanishing point. I thought I had commented earlier, better late than never.

Thanks a lot for your kind thoughts on this series of Colorado and the San Juan Mountains. That last image was taken high above the resort town of Telluride, my favorite place in the San Juan's. The aspens were really brilliant and amazing this year.

I hope you get to come back next year! There are many great spots in San Juans, no 2 years are same, and all years offer great opportunities. I spent 3 weeks there this year, some with clients, some alone, some rewards, some disappointments, but always exciting! Once you know some spots, new visits will get easier, I heard from some people how it can be overwhelming wanting to be in the right spots on the right day, right time of day...
