It's such a nice change of pace from the 70-200 oss ii for many things. The 1st might have been in crop mode. The 2nd was not.

Thank you. There were 2 other bulls up a hill that we had to hike up to get decent shots with my 70-200 +1.4.
It’s a peaceful 546 acre park outside St. Louis with hiking trails and different drive thru loops. The bison area is separate and surrounded by an electric fence. I can spend 2-3 hours there easily.
Lone Elk Park is the name of it.
