Would you like to add R10 to R5 and R6 combination? Or just sell R6 to get R10? What are your opinions and suggestions? Thank you.

I would not personally use it in rotation with either an R5 or R6 for "real" work, but of course, others might feel differently.

However, I think the R10 could be a nice modern take on the Digital Rebel concept for travel photography, having much better AF and shooting speed. The new suite of small, lightweight STM RF primes could also be surprisingly useful on APS-C, despite being designed for full frame. And of course, you can adapt EF-S glass.

To me, the R10's best selling point is its small size and weight. But this comes with limitations, such as lack of IBIS. I personally think an R7 would be the better choice (and worth the additional cost) as a complement to the R5/R6 for the enthusiast.

YMMV.

Not really sure I'd have a use for one. Kind of spoiled by the M50 small size for a travel body. Even the small rebels seem big by comparison, though the R10 is smaller than the DSLR bodies. The R100 or whatever that is rumored could be interesting. Though not something I'm likely to jump on until my M quits working. Rumor has it that it will be announced this year (r100). So if you're looking for a travel body maybe hold out a bit and see what it brings.

I'm not as steady as I used to be and thus went with the R7 over the R10. IBIS combined with lens IS means I rarely get a blurry image. And that auto leveling feature is kind of nice. It is a tiny camera but I find it just big enough I can comfortably use it, unlike the M6 it replaced for me.

I have the m5 & m6 11 but this year I will be taking the R10 + 100-400 to Maui as I surch the Pacific for whales.
Last year took the R5 & 100-500, to much weight for an old guy

I would avoid the R10 altogether, but maybe you have something specific in mind? The rudimentary controls and tiny battery don't make it too system friendly for R5 users. I find that switching from the R7 to R5 more than a dozen times per day to be enough of a hassle.

For a while I owned an M6 Mark II as a replacement for a Rebel SL1 and had the same reaction as you. Too small for me, and the controls seemed too fiddly to operate with confidence. The R10 and R7 ergonomics seem much better (for me). Shame the R10 doesn't have IBIS.

R5 with 100-500 or (today) 800/11, and RP with ZE28 or ZE21 are my preferred gear for a good day.

The R10 is a very good camera too. But it is the field of view that is the main reason for my choice. The R10 is _very_ small (a good thing) with the RF 16mm and has a field of view of 25.6mm, but I like to have Zeiss for my wides. I have not thought of trying the ZE15 for a FoW of 24mm with the R10 yet. The ZE15 has worked very well indeed on e.g. the 24Mp 2000D.

When I feel to go light, I use the R10 with the RF 100-400 or 24-240, without being under-equipped at all. With the RF16 in the pocket I got 98% of anything I can make use of. The R5 has a little something extra, as has the 100-500 to the image quality. But it is far less under most circumstances than the discussions on any fora will let you "know".

Sitting here now thinking why on Earth did I NOT try the R10 with the Zeiss 15/2.8 today Oldfartedness I suppose... But something nice to get outside and try out next!

I would not sell a R6 for a R10 unless I have real need for very light gear OR would like the better reach (field of view) of the crop sensor _and_ that in a very small or light package. For better reach without a need for lightness, the R7 is better (not for the budget though).

Thank you for all answers. I would keep R5 & R6 using for most of my RF lenses like 100-500 and 28-70. Now I am looking for the best UWA for Astro photography as I am using with BenroPolaris

Zeiss ZE 15/2.8 Distagon with a good adapter. No, it is not Perfect, but it is much less non-perfect than most other WA-lenses.

It's pretty big and heavy, but I really like the Sigma 14-24 2.8 adapted on the R5 for astro.

Some others said that Sigma 14 2.4 is best UWA for astrophotography
