p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Sony A9 photos not showing in LR after Topaz edits.

Anyone elss have this issue? Raw image edited in Topaz from Lightroom, saved as a TIFF but not returned to LR. It does show in the hard drive next to the original but not in LR.
My A7III photos are returned and show in LR.

Whats that about?

Sounds like the plug-in for PS & LR is not installed. Ex) Make sure LR is not running. Bring up Topaz DeNoise itself, click help then click install PS plug-in.

Which app? Are you dragging them in from LR to Topaz? It can't be a RAW image if you send it from LR to Topaz via the right click "Edit In" command. Only TIFF or PSD.

If you are dragging the files in it only offers the original file directory. Try this after you save it. Open the Library window. Find the folder with the file you worked on. Right click on that folder and select Synchronize Folder.

I did that for a while it was too much of a pain. For me it comes back as DNG and I lose my colour profiles.

I dont drag RAW files in.
I edit the photos in LR, then select “Edit in Topaz Denoise” from the LR tab, I leave all the defaults as is “TIFF,Profoto,300 res,16 bit etc” it opens in Topaz, I apply Denoise settings, and when its done it returns the sharpened version back in LR as a TIFF.
Except with A9 shots, they aren’t reopened in LR. But Topaz does close and returns me to LR as always.
The new TIFF versions are in the hard drive folder as completed but dont show in LR. Photos from my A7III DO show in LR after this same process.

Photos shot with A7III work fine. They “Edit in Topaz” from LR and return the TIFF to LR when finished. So the plugin must be fine.

Hmmm. Not sure why they A9 only would do that. Have you tried that synchronization step? For staters resetting LrC preferences might help. Also maybe an install glitch. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling both may solve it.
