Wow, what a sight Jason. I prefer the first for them looking in the same direction and the better catchlight in the eyes.

You have one heck of a find here! Wow that is an amazing find and to have them perched like this is perfect. As cool as having them all facing the same direction as Morris mentioned I find it equally as interesting to see them looking in three different directions as they are a team looking out for each other.
Awesome and hope you get more opportunities with this trio.

It is a truly unique find and then the leucistic one in the middle, making it even more so.

I won't go near this local bird. I heard it's a zoo of photographers around this poor critter.

It's gone now. Luckily, I knew about this little one weeks before the hordes found out, as they roosted in my friend's backyard. I was able to spend many hours & days alone (along with my friend) with them in private. I stopped going in late July when the owls stopped roosting behind my friend's property and word spread.

You're wrong about it being a zoo though - it was much worse, more like the Tokyo subways at rush hour, but times 100 - people blocking the trail with their tripods, not letting local walkers, joggers & cyclists through. Parking in front of houses at 5am, slamming car doors & talking loudly, etc...

It was quite funny really...one day my friend and I were looking for them (long before word got out and only a select number of people knew about it) and we couldn't find them. So we started saying stuff like "wouldn't it be amazing if they all landed on a branch with the white one in the middle?" AND THEN IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
