I had Sharpen and DeNoise. DeNoise was going to lose support next month. I didn't really want Gigapixel but they gave to me for $80 and Photo AI for free. All 4 apps are good for a year. I doubt I would have paid the full price for Photo AI.

Understand your position. Still, at this point AI does not offer the detailed adjustments available in the individual apps, ergo why I'm on the fence until that changes.

I definitely wish this could be rolled into one program - I often find myself wondering how people feel about this vs DXO Pure raw right now.

Just found that Photo AI processed DNG have much less DR, can't recover as much highlights than from original ARW (pull from shadow seems fine but haven't really looked). Since I do quite a bit night cityscape, recover highlights from artificial lights is really important.

I was just looking at the release history for the Topaz photo products and noticed the Photo AI 1.1 (Released 12/1) note pinned to the top

It seems like this is quickly replacing the old products.

Yes Photo AI is that good, the AI and masking are exceedingly good, and it’s faster and more efficient than the individual programs. In my testing, it blows the doors off of On1 NoNoise AI. The Achilles heel remains the Topaz DNG; bloated files > 250 MB.

Zenon Char is Gigapixel used as a plugin for LR & PS or is it a standalone app?

Topaz recently did a update to Photo AI which is suppose to improve the brush, but I still find using it complex, when you can have one brush, and adjust size like you can in LR or PS. However with that said, because this is AI, that may not be possible, but that's just guess on my part.

It can be used as a plug-in or stand alone for LR and PS. Same as Photo AI that includes Gigapixel, Sharpen and DeNoise.

If you are using motion blur use masking so it only corrects the primary subjects. Your background is blurry so it is trying to correct it and it does not do great job. No different than Sharpen AI which did the same to me over the years. Any 3rd party blur correction will struggle with something that was supposed to be intentionally blurry.

As for the other stuff it is not terrible. Depends on what you are doing with it and can be controlled. Just shows what this software can do.

Good because Photo AI won't work with R6II RAW files. I notified support and they responded.

Ray, look at the area of the Ref's hat and the right leg shin. Try what Zenon suggested and select only the primary target(s) to process.

And the players that were in the back are with the ref. AI selected the ref and players. I copied that file used the new brush system to remove them. It was pretty amazing. Followed the edges remarkably well which made it fast and easy. I have a bad habit of tending to push sharpening to squeeze out that last bit of detail. I do try and be careful when a file is back in LrC, particularly when I export.

It's not perfect but much better than what I can do.

I was getting this error using the R6II with LrC and using the Plugin Extras method. Support replied.

Topaz Photo AI is the one that does not have this camera supported yet so the output DNG is not read properly. We will be adding it soon so the output DNG can be imported correctly to Lightroom. When the software we use for RAW support updates, we will have support for this camera as well.

RAW support for the R6II was in this update. Version 1.1.2. Took only a week.

7 or so more updates it's at 1.1.2. Every week it just keeps getting better. I'm trialing PureRaw 2. Fine hairs look less jagged tha PR. More detail in the eye and less background noise.
