Last year spent 4 nights in Zermatt and had a great time. I was quite lucky with the weather as I had clear view of Matterhorn for my entire stay. One morning, I managed to get out to the river view point on Kirchbrücke bridge for sunrise and it was quite an experience. No clouds in the sky but the first light on Matterhorn was fun to photograph. Zermatt has endless possibilities of photography.

Love how you captured the early morning light reflecting on the river. The Matterhorn sure is impressive. No. 2 is my favorite! Nice work!

Great to see some more images from your trip! Morning and late evening can be quite special there. I love seeing alpenglow.

It was so fun to help you plan your itinerary and to meet up in real life in Zürich. Can’t wait to see more.

Thank you, there are many other spots to get the sunrise images. Actually if you can get to Sunnega early then you can hike to one of the lakes and get reflection with sunrise light. You will love Zermatt.

Thanks David, glad you enjoyed it. Matterhorn is very impressive. In fact when you take the Glacier paradise ride then Matterhorn looks completely different because of the viewing angle of the mountain. I will post some of those images later.

Thanks Mike! Travelling and taking images is the easy part but getting to PP them is a lot of work. I have a huge backlog. Will slowly get to them. I did work on some more images and will post more soon. It was indeed fun meeting up with you and appreciate your help. Hope all is well on your end. Thanks

Yes, Matterhorn is really hit and miss. I got really lucky last year in August/September. Weather was unusual warm. Did the 5 lakes hike and Matterhorn was in view throughout the hike.
