I'd purchase a Z9 immediately if Nikon had the 400TC, 600TC of 800PF available, so, until then I will be sitting with the Canon gear I own but NOT adding anything else.

At this point, I have more or less the same kit but I do sometimes (less often lately) get the itch to try something new (or old). Buying and hoarding gear is one thing, buying and selling to get a taste of what is out there is another.

2022 was pretty flat for what I had in my bag. Early 2023 has had a few changes in anticipation of a trip, but I expect the rest of the year to not really have any changes.

I'm done, I will soon be 75, an official old geezer. Someone listed a Z7ii and then 100-400 surfaced
at a good price. What I need to do now is keep repeating that, your are old and done!

Maybe, the question should be: Is Nikon done making gear? Unless they come out with Z6 or even Z50 update update with a state of the art autofocus system under 3k I'm done.

Halfway through 76 and things are getting difficult. I am pretty much done.
