The Godox diffusers and grid for their Para 88 appear to be approximately the same size as the Broncolor ones at a fraction of the price. I bought the Broncolor Para 88 because I liked the look and quality but is there a good reason why I shouldn't get a cheaper diffuser or grid? (I can feel the hot breath on my collar already, but nonetheless...) No matter the branding amn't I just finding a way to diffuse, lessen or narrow a light source?

I'm not a fan of diffusion for the para but if you're going to, might as well save some $.

For the grid I might consider

because it'll give more options for the degree, only downside is Broketographers said it is a stiff grid similar to those for a beauty dish so you might want a gong bag for storage and safety of it.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was wondering if the Godox diffusers and grid for their parabolic 88 actually fit the Broncolor Para 88.
I have looked at the Honeycomb grids before but they don't appear to have an outlet in Europe and though I've emailed them twice they have never returned an email so I can only assume they have no interest in selling into this part of the world - perhaps being stiff their grids are not easily transportable.

I'd be really surprised if the godox stuff doesn't fit.
I'm not affiliated with honeycomb but their faq says they ship worldwide, and they have stuff currently up on ebay though their copyright date on their webpage is like 8 years out of date.

Someone in the Broncolor FB group confirmed that the Godox 120 diffuser fits the Para 133. So I imagine the 88 would as well.
