Is that Oberg Mountain? Lake photo appears similar to a photo I have from last year when I reached the Oberg Mountain trail overlook. Beautiful up there!

Indeed it is Oberg Mt. I've been there in the winter, but not the summer (that I remember). Great place. As for a CPL, yeah, I added one part way into my shooting but the changes were subtle on the foliage. The color was best with the sun at my back, so a filter didn't change things much.
