Yup, you read that right. University baseball up North is a fall sport because we usually still have a lot of snow on the ground in March and the exam period is in April.

A trio of images from a double-header last night. I was playing with the shutter drag on the pitcher and would love C&C and/or shared ideas/experiences. I did this with just a monopod, but if I try it again I might haul in the gigantic 'Small Rig' video tripod. Is it worth the hassle?

I think a set of sticks with a gimbal could help with consistent motion for your pan blurring. I know some people recommend using some type of stabilization i.e. VR, IS, OSS, etc. but I feel like I always have the best luck handheld or with a monopod

Might be an idea... just a question of whether I want to drag the heavy tripod in or not. I did use a monopod for the photos. I think the face is blurred out more because of movement of the head than the camera, but you could well be right. Something for me to think about. Thanks!
