So up here in Toronto we are seeing the southern migration of the birds. This morning was beautiful light and with the winds from the north there was a lot of raptors heading south for the winter. There was a about 20 birders up doing counts for Cornell's E-Bird. I had thought our local Osprey had already left as it wasn't to be seen for about a week, but then he just appeared with a fish and did the dine and dash thing. There was nice light but patches of shade where the light hadn't gotten high enough to clear the trees

Well Dave you had the exposure right to save those highlights nice work! That is some difficult lighting. #2 image makes him look huge with that wingspan and really nice look to the eye with that head turn on the last one.
