I paid $1600 CAD for a new E-M1 II almost 3 years ago, so I was confused why a refurbished one was being priced at $1350 USD, until I realized this is actually an old thread that had been bumped up, the sale is long over.
I don't think it makes any difference whether zooming in means turning left or turning right, it just needs to be same direction for all of one's lenses. I made my choice with Olympus, so I will stick with Olympus and avoid Panasonic lenses. There are other issues as well such as compatibility of features like the weathersealing or the IS of the body vs that of the lens. Probably better to stick with one brand and not mix them too much. If you really prefer Panasonic lenses, then Panasonic bodies might be the best choice.
