These were the photos I was talking about.
I think the Brown Noddy, might actually be a Black Noddy, but either way it was a first for me.
These were all at a significant distance. I am not exactly sure how far, because the rocks and crashing waves were a little disorienting, relative to gauging the distance. Plus, not being familiar with these birds, I am not sure how big they actually are. Suffice it to say, they were tiny in my evf.
The Shearwater, the flying bird, was the closest to me. Even then, it was not a great angle. AF locked on/turned green, but it was a quick shot (Obviously). Not sharp.
Not sure my settings were correct for any of them. I know this is not the critique section, but it doesn't hurt my feelings.
Regardless, they are lifers for me. Doubtful that I will see them again. So, these pics are better than nothing.
The Noddy, sadly, has fishing line, and what looks like a lure, stuck to him. I did not realize that until I was running these photos through the LR. See the last pic.
