First time - to get to the big herd of cows on the other side.
Second time - to get away from the herd bull claiming all the cows!
But the second time was in some nice light!
I had been envious of a local to me photographer who got some great shots of bulls in the river last year. Yesterday it finally happened for me. He disappeared into the trees for a few minutes, then we heard a lot of crashing in the trees and brush and he reappeared on the shore, undoubtedly escorted out by Mr. Big.

Well if this guy is not Mr Big your going to need a wide angle lens when he comes your way I was thinking Moose, man this is a stout thick bull but apparently not up to the task of Mr Big.

Thank-you Louie!! You got all the pixels on this one, I was using back up foot crop for this. He wanted nothing to do with who was in the woods! BTW- I got shots of this herd bull this morning, post coming soon!
