How did you get permission to photograph at Monza. I understand they limit cameras....

Nice. I like the side shots of Norris and Leclerc the best, but the shot of Bottas with the smoke behind is really cool too (the others are good too, just those three stood out to me).

How was the experience? I heard horror stories of the fan experience at Monza this year.

There is no camera limit at Monza, they check every bag, you cannot take more than 0.5L water with no bottle cap?!? But you can take any camera that you want.... many had quite a big camera

How was the experience? I heard horror stories of the fan experience at Monza this year.

I only go on Friday to avoid all the chaos, general admission so I can move around and is affordable. I did 30-minute queue to go in due to the bag search and this stupid bring your own water limit....

The token system to buy food and drinks is insane and so stupid, on Friday it was ok like 15 min or so to get token, but Saturday / Sunday apparently was a nightmare and as you cannot bring your own drinks you are force to this madness.

M mode, Eletronic Shutter, Servo AF, small square AF.

Fastest shutter speed used 1/640 (you can go up to 1/800 or 1/1000 but with open wheel cars if you don't see the motion blur on the wheel, they look parked)

I start with higher shutter speed and every lap I go down and down, the good about motorsport is 98% predictable and every 1 min or so you have another chance. By panning at 1/160 I'm probably at 70% hit rate at 1/40 I'm down to 20% or so
