You are correct but for now, since I just bought a 70-200 ois ii 😂, I will just use the A7riv where I now know begins will occur and user the A9 for the others, like volleyball and baseball, since the gym lighting seems fine.

You may have to go to mechanical shutter with anti flicker on. My issue with that for me was I shoot maybe 40k with two gigs like that and just don’t want to put that much on my shutter. I’m mechanical. Again only the the A9II and A1 can you avoid it with electronic shutter

That's what I am doing at about 1000 per game. Good thing for 500k shutter life.

I went from the 70-180(which I liked) to this amazing lens and have a 1.4tc on the way. Photo is from my phone, so excuse the quality.

Yes but look how sharp. Seriously ive been around for decades and never seen a zoom this sharp. Yea its pricy but worth it

I haven’t either. I used to love Nikon’s 70-200 on my D750 and D810. We have come a long ways. This lens rivals prime lenses.
