East winds are blowing wild fire smoke from the Cascades toward my house in WA. We thought we'd dodged the smoking bullet this summer, but it caught up to us. Drone view. Staying inside for the rest of the day!
Thanks Karl. West wind is clearing us out today, should be back to our normal good air quality by the afternoon. Now I feel sorry for folks on the east side of the mountains.
Was calling on some of my accounts in Sultan today incredible phone images people were showing me they had taken of the Bolt Creek Fire. Sadly they are saying the fire was started by backpackers camping outside the filled camp ground and had a fire going even though there was a burn ban in place
A cool image of an unfortunate reality, Jim! Here in central Idaho the smoke has been unrelenting since the beginning of September. Can't wait for some autumn rains. All of the pine trees look so stressed. Stay safe and best regards!
