Nice images.

My experience was a bit better but no Longhorn beetles, very few ladybirds, few Red Admirals or Peacocks, no grasshoppers and only one Bush Cricket and very few smaller, wings insects.

We thought we were not going to get a mushroom season but it has just started.

Many Thanks.
My concern is that the images are over sharpened or not sharpened enough. Also I seem to detect 'movement', or some kind of smearing in certain parts, especially the hairy parts on top of the bumble bee. Perhaps it is the 1/160 sync speed for flash and a double image with daylight.

Most likely a DOF issue. I can't comment on the daylight issue without knowing the ISO and aperture. Sharpness looks OK.

The images have an exif.
Generally 1/160. 1/8 power flash F11 ISO 200-320, Processed in Lightroom 6
Canon R5 100mm IS macro.
I used the AF on the heads, with IBIS and IS on. Approx 1/2 life size to just below
