It's a clean image. Has lots of lines going places. Did you take this on an horizontal angle? Or do those lines intentionally stay unaligned? I like your photograph. I think if you submitted this to a professor or some other pro they'd say brilliant and give you an A or 100%... But I think it could "POP" a bit more. I crop. I played around. I dodged here. I burned there.

I like the composition and the layers of patterns and tones.

Thanks Heron. That is what drew me to the setting in the first place.

crow high, thanks for the feedback. That's a really dramatic take you have on the picture, and I did take a vertical image as well. The shot I posted is taken at a horizontal angle, some of the "misaligned" lines are deliberate designs by the architect. I did have to do some distortion correction as this was taken with an old manual focus Nikkor that has quite a bit of barrel distortion, perhaps you are sensing some less than stellar correction efforts on my part.

Great capture Ray!!! I love all the lines!
Personally I might of added a tad more contrast to add some seperation but that is just me. It works very well as is!

Now I am really liking this as well! I like how you isolated the stairs and enhanced the rougher concrete!
Makes nice separation between the geometrical lines!

No I had no idea about barrel distortion until you mentioned it. Now I think I can see it from the middle of the photograph.

I now think I remember seeing something like this somewhere, maybe the local university. Or maybe somewhere in Alberta, Canada. But I'm not going to try to find it. There's no way I could get it that good.

I'm a under developed idiot. I'm easily motivated to take high risks for that adrenaline rush. And I'm obsessive compulsive.
What am I trying to convey?? What After looking at your photograph in aww. I then thought what Danbphoto thought and said: Personally I might of added a tad more contrast That's what I thought. But I thought it obsessively. More contrast! More paint! That's what was going through my mind.

Thank you. That's what I wanted Pbraymond to see.

Thanks Pbraymond. I'm a visual guy. I'm not good at creating worlds of creativity with sentences and well thought of words. So next time when I find the right lens for the camera I have yet to buy, I'll remember your photograph and keep that in mind the next time I frame architecture.

Enjoying the comments and feedback. I played around with the contrast some more (I had already boosted it somewhat), the original was fairly flat other than the diagonals due to the midday light and reflected light from the concrete wall behind where I was standing.

I agree, adding still more contrast does pop it more!

I've heard that they are having issues with the contractor who is supposed to handle their project. I know from experience how difficult it is to locate a trustworthy concrete contractor that will complete everything on schedule. Nevertheless, a buddy of mine from https://www.concretecontractorsfortworthtexas.com/ informed me of several factors to take into account while selecting a contractor. When choosing a contractor, the first thing you should check is the equipment they employ. Additionally, when discussing tools in the concrete industry, it is important to note that both the equipment and the vehicles are included. Look over their equipment and make sure it's in good condition.

I like this image. The variation in textures and angles gives it a lot of interest.
Cheers,
