Just got back from a trip to Portgual and Spain. Really new to photography (and to this forum!) and don't have any idea what I'm doing, but still having a lot of fun with it. Shot on a Contax T3 / Portra 400.

I might suggest decreasing the size of the image a bit. Crop out most of the image on her left. Make her the left border of the image(her left) with just a hint of the leaves.
Other that my $.02, fine image!

Thank you, appreciate the feedback! Definitely need to start thinking about cropping.
Dan's advice is sound. You've got an eye for lighting; background; model. Now all this image needed was a pose. And a different pair of shoes. You certainly look like you know what you're doing. Keep it up!

Hahah - i'll pass along the note to my gf. I asked her about the color choice after the fact and she mentioned that she packed colors to match the colors of Seville. But perhaps comfort > style when it came to shoes
