In light of the Techart Pro LM-EA9 coming out, I'd like to know: Is there anyone who loves the look of the Zeiss ZM 35 1.4 Distagon so much that they would use it with the new Techart Pro LM-EA9 in some circumstances over a Sony GM 35 1.4, assuming the inherent AF and IQ compromises associated with the Zeiss didn't make using it a nonstarter for the application?

Hi Jack,
If you already own the lens, do not mind the induced field curvature and are willing to compromise AF performance compared to the Sony GM version, this combination does work. I've tried it with the original TAP adapter and it should work better with TAP v2.

Also keep in mind that because this lens has FLE, there will be an extra penalty in IQ when shooting this lens at close range with its lens' focusing ring set to infinity.
