For a chuckle, to show my skill level, and to emphasize how some birders here produce the most incredible photos.

at the first two - guess you don't need AF or tracking skills for those ones.

And that is the most seagull-y looking pigeon I've ever seen!

Hey Jeff, I'm working on my tracking skills. As for the seagull, I caught a decisive moment, him being on one leg.

The first image shows some problem with feather detail on the bird's body. Detail on the tail looks good though.

The second shot the bird is too centered and looks very static.

The third one must be a very rare species of pigeon. Never seen one before.
My suggestion about this last shot is to get at the birds eye level (on your belly) so you can create a separation with the BG IOT isolate the bird.
Make sure to brush all the birds crap off your shirt and pants, after you get back up, before shooting again.

Looks like you are on your way. Shooting birds has a way of getting in your blood.

Itís a challenge for sure, not easily done well, not for the faint of heart. On vacation this week. One of the first things I did was to fill the bird feeders in the backyard. 😀
