Not my usual type of shot, in fact first time I've tried to capture the Milky Way... so I'm sure there is tons I could do better (when taking the photo or post processing) so suggestions welcome. Only had 1 clear night in the week I was there so no redos

Since it's a ski mountain there is some light pollution that just happened to light the mountain up nicely.

It's a single shot exposure (I did try stacking in Starry Landscape) but results were similar.

Most excellent result for your first attempt! The light on the mountain worked out just right. I quite like your processing - I also tweak my sky to more blue less yellow/green, which is what my camera seems to capture.

Very nice and wonderful results. Spent 4 years in that area (Holderness School) late 60’s lots of Skiing split between Cannon Mtn and Waterville Valley, also lots of hiking among the Presidentials.

Beautiful shot.
Still trying to get some decent shots myself. Went to do a shoot the other night, it was at a ski resort as well. None really turned out. Either shutter was open too long or forgot to set to infinity focus. I will maybe try a higher iso next time. For a 10 sec iso 6400 shot, yours is beautiful.

That's a great shot!
You have a fast lens. Drop your ISO in half, and keep your shutter open twice as long.

Great shot, I've failed on multiple tries for a similar milkyway shot (bad weather luck).
