Whatcom Falls State Park is a lovely and digestible gem right in Bellingham. I loved a little exploration and photography so close to home.

These are great! You definitely were there on a day with better lighting than when I was there :-)

It looks like you had good lighting conditions on this visit, good job! I always enjoy trying to incorporate this bridge into photos when I'm visiting (at least once a year).

I went with my family in mid-morning but the light and shadows created by the trees made for some hot spots and dark shadows.
I went back before sunrise and got these ones with more even diffuse lighting.
