Or fireflies, if you prefer. They have been excellent this year - very good numbers.
This is a *total* rookie effort - first time I have ever tried this - so critiques and suggestions are most welcome.
I'm no expert at selectively compositing layers in PS (I just stacked the images using lighter color blend mode) so I will have to refine my PP technique on that part. I think I'd like a bit more DOF, but with the lens (CV Nokton 40/1.2) set at f1.2 for maximum light from the fireflies, I don't get much. I'd also like to get the base layer a bit less noisy, but doing a longer exposure to expose for the scene will give massive bright streaks of the fireflies. Some streaks may be fine, but not too dominant. Obviously I need to play more. Ideas are welcome!
