Very nice set. TFS

It has been unusually dry in my area, so the odonata have been few and are between.

Nice set Brian. I tried capturing a dragonfly with a 200-600 and it was a disaster...

sathys - I've seen people use long telephotos to capture dragonflies in flight.

I use a 400mm (on m4/3, so 800mm equivalent) for most of my dragonfly shots. I have had virtually no success with in-flight ones, not least because the camera to subject distance changes greatly and rapidly. If you could find a spot where they fly parallel to your viewpoint, you will be in with a chance.
