Not sure when this happened but I just noticed that the R5 C now costs $4,799, a $300 increase from before. Not sure if this is to stabilize the supply and demand, just taking advantage of the demand, or a permanent hike but wanted to throw this out as an FYI.
It looks like you may still be able to get it around $4,500 via Greentoe. I got mine through them a couple of months ago for $4,300 so they definitely are still doing lower prices than retail.

FYI, for the record, the increase was $300 (from $4499 to $4799).......

Hopefully this new reality of price increases and low availability will be starting to go behind us next year. Not sure though with all the inflation. The one benefit is that all the gear i have has depreciated a lot less than it usually would.
