Its that time of year again. Unfortunately, as much as I tried to keep my setup stable, the wind still blurred things up a tad in a few pics.

Wow, that is dramatic to say the least! I love the waves of rain visible from lightning. Was stationed at Ft Huachuca many years ago and the monsoon season was beautiful and potentially violent. The Apache called it "Place of Thunder".

Did you use a lightning detector or just kept the shutter open? Thanks for sharing!

I lived in Sarasota, FL for 25 years. The lightening capitol of the U.S., according to the news.

With that said. When I moved to the Prescott area 16 years ago? The monsoon storms and lightening are FAR more dramatic in AZ than in FL!
