I am selling my sparingly used 2019 Apple Mac Pro Tower, having just purchased the Mac Studio. This is in pristine condition. I have Mac OS Monterey in a clean install on the system. The Config is as follows:

BASIC SPECS

CPU: 3.3 GHz 12-core
GPU: AMD Radeon Pro580X 8 GB RAM
RAM: 96 GB
NVME HD: 2TB Apple built in SSD

EXTRAS

1. Pegasus J2i internal HD enclosure with 2 bays to install HD of your choice. I have left the 2.5" to 3.5" adapter in one slot so you can put in an internal SSD (what I had done). Please note: The HDs in the photo are NOT included in this sale.

2. Two PCI-e expansion slots to provide 2 more USB-C ports and 4 more USB type A ports, all to USB 3.1 specs. Note: These are not Thunderbolt outlets and do NOT allow you to connect Thunderbay type external HD enclosures or external displays, but will allow other type of peripherals such as keyboards, mouse, Wacom tablets, external USB HDs etc. The two items taped to the frame are the covers from the PCI-e card slots, and can be replaced if these additions are removed at a later date.

Impressive machine! just curious what trade-in value apple gave you when quoting the Mac Studio?

I have a relative who works for Apple, so I got my Mac Studio through him for a discount that is available to family of employees. In that situation trade-ins do not work. So I don't know. It is obvious that just like a camera, you are likely to get more in a private sale. I suppose one can find out from Apple directly. I think it is probably around $3K, unlikely to be more. My 1 yr old Macbook Pro with 16G RAM was valued at less than $1000 (new price over $2500).
