I got lucky and snagged a Z 14-24 f 2.8 the night before 10% off went live. Talked to support and they applied it to my order!

Does anyone have experience buying Nikon refurb? I got the lens today and it's got some minor scuffs on the shell and a few tiny marks in the lens coating. Everything functions perfectly. Overall great deal for $1700.

A little surprised your lens had minor scuffs... but great deal on a wonderful lens. I have purchased a few refurbs, and most arrived looking new..

Just bit on the Z50/2 lens kit to upgrade my son's X-T2 as well...the spice must flow!

Most of my refurbs have looked brand new. Only exceptions I can recall:

- Lens cap on the 28E had a scuff on the "Nikon" logo
- The focus ring rubber on the 105E is getting that chalky appearance. IIRC that's a pretty easy fix.

Just kidding, my 35mm 1.8s arrived today with stickers (prior owners initials) along with scrapes all over the writing on the lens.

Apparently Nikon refuses to do exchanges… but will gladly return the lens. Had to email my contact at Nikon, but exasperated I had to escalate this. Likely to return if they can’t send me a better copy.

The FTZ II I ordered showed up as expected.

35/1.8, Z50 and associated lenses showed up all looking brand new. Only annoying part is the back caps on the two DX lenses are just press on temporary ones, vs the regular screw ons. Only the DX lenses had that, kinda weird.
