Some very stealthy paddling in the kayak allowed me to grab some different backdrops and angles of this magnificent bird. All comments and critiques welcome.

It was very strange to get that close. I actually paddled away before he took off. It's not often we leave before the bird does

Very neat how the BG changed with the angle. Good solid shots each one of them Gary! Liking the darker BG's.

Very nice set Gary of one of my favorite birds. Your third image is a stark reminder of why I am glad not to be a fish. The eyes tell you that you can swim but not hide, and those talons are more lethal than any other raptor I've seen.
