GGO's, as you likely already know, are quite large owls. They don't have many natural predators. But underneath all the fluffy feathers, they are actually quite slender. Here is a pose you don't see often (second image included for a more normal reference point):

Is that a new PS action, image stretch

That guy looks terribly distorted! Cool comparison Henrik, that is something I will never see so a big thanks!

Super interesting info and image, Henrik. I had an eagle fly over an owl once, but the GGO didn't do this. Likely the eagle was two far away. The owl sure kept its eyes on the eagle until it was out of site though (the owls, not mine, as "owlvision" is far superior in many ways.

Yeah, it was quite interesting to see. The eagle was pretty far up. Have some video of it as well and you can really see how it transitions from normal to the stretched out version.

Interesting capture of a beautiful bird. Top of my bucket list. Well near the top

It is amazing how small all owls are below the fluff.
