Yeah, I know - first world problems I'm still figuring out this R5 and the settings, and out of a bucket load of images, these are my favorites. I photographed the male and his partner, and their three fledglings two years ago, but shortly thereafter, the female died, and work was started on restoring the old water tower where they roost. I was pleased to see several falcons in the past few weeks, and this afternoon learned that the male had seduced a new partner and they got busy in their penthouse suite.
I was surprised by the amount of noise in a lot of the images with the water tower in the background, and even the last couple of in flight shots.
I also learned, to no surprise, that I need to work out more if I want to be swinging my R5 and 500+TC for an hour and a half
