Point taken, Jared. Thank you. Having looked up the Eastern/Western Meadowlark on the Merlin app, I jumped to a conclusion that the Kingbirds would be equally difficult to differentiate.

The best part of these captures was that they were right out in front of me in the mowed prairie grasses of the campground I was camped in. Great way to spend my afternoon down time.
