Megadap has more lens compatibility. Most issues are coming from the first batch.
But honestly … get the Nikon 20 1.8 instead of the CV.

Independently of IQ and AF/MF, the CV 21/1.4 is faster, it's slighter heavier than the 20/1.8 S (560 vs 505 g), but smaller (80x71 mm vs 109x85 mm). The Z 20/1.8 S is as large as my Zeiss ZF 100/2 Makro-Planar

I vote for the CV 21/1.4

Wide open the CV21 is ok, it shines stopped down. I prefer the Nikon because I use it wide open and for stopping down I use other lenses anyhow.
It depends on your usage honestly.

any further info on megadap's first batch of adapters being busted? My experience with the etz21 was disastrous. Went through 3 faulty copies from BH before calling it.

I’ve been using the ETZ21 with the Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 DG DN on my Z6 for two months now & it’s been great. Been taking the lens and adapter on & off to switch lenses many times & have had ZERO issues thus far. I was anticipating failures from reviews & this thread but I guess I got lucky with my copy. OR issues are imminent.

How do you deal with the rather strong pincushion distortion when using the ETZ21?

Do you see a marked difference in distortion when enabling in-camera distortion correction and Adobe software?

Honestly, I haven't even noticed any distortion though I'm aware of this issue. I use Lightroom to import & edit so maybe it automatically corrects it.
